Report a Mistake

Found a wrong verse, a factual error, a wrong quiz answer or something unfair to a Christian tradition? Tell us below. Serious problems are hidden or fixed within 24 hours, and every content fix is logged publicly with its date and what changed.

Pip has spotted something on the scroll.

Filled in automatically when you come from the “Report a mistake” button.

What kind of problem is it?

If you can, include the verse reference that shows the right answer.

Only if you would like a reply. Your email app sends the message, so we will see your address anyway.

This opens your email app with the report filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send there. No email app? Write to hello@7scrolls.com.

What happens next

  1. An editor reads your report and checks it against the Bible text and our sources.
  2. We sort it by seriousness:
    • P0, a wrong verse or content offensive to a tradition: hidden or fixed within 24 hours, resolved within 72 hours.
    • P1, a factual error or wrong quiz answer: fixed within 72 hours.
    • P2, unclear wording or a typo: fixed within 7 days.
  3. If we change the substance of a page, we record it in the corrections log and update the page’s date.
  4. If you left an email address, we tell you what we did.

Not every report leads to a change. Where Christians genuinely disagree, our aim is to describe the main views fairly, not to pick one; if you think a view is missing or misdescribed, that is exactly the kind of report we want.
