How can I use a Bible word search in a class?

Give each child the grid and read the verse for each word aloud as it is found. The Noah’s Ark puzzle pairs well with the Bible quiz for kids, and older groups can follow the twelve apostles grid with a short discussion of Matthew 10. For a tougher challenge, try the Bible crossword puzzles, where every clue points to a verse.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Bible word search puzzles free to print?

Yes. Print as many copies as you need for a class, a church group or your family. Use “Print this puzzle” to print one grid with its answer key on a second page.

Which word search is best for young children?

Start with Noah’s Ark or Creation. Their words only run across or down, and the grids are 10 by 10. The other puzzles hide words in all eight directions.

Where do the words come from?

Every word is taken from the Bible text itself, and the list shows the verse for each one, checked against the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). For example, the apostles’ names follow Matthew 10:2–4.

How do I play online?

Tap or click the first letter of a word, then its last letter. If the letters spell a word from the list, it is marked as found. “Show answers” highlights every word.
