What does this easy Bible quiz cover?

The 15 questions stay with stories that many people have heard at least once: a woman who hid two spies in Jericho, a mother who prayed for a son, a short tax collector in a sycamore tree, a queen chosen by King Xerxes and a son who ended up feeding pigs. Roughly half come from the Old Testament and half from the New, so a beginner gets a quick tour of the whole Bible rather than one book.

Every question asks what the text says, not what any church teaches about it. Where a miracle is involved, the question is framed as "According to John 11..." so you can answer honestly whether or not you share the faith behind the story.

How can I use it with a group, a class or at home?

Read each question aloud and let people call out an answer before you reveal it, then read the verse on screen together. That one verse often starts a better conversation than the question itself. For a mixed group, pair a confident reader with a newcomer and let them answer as a team.

With younger children, the gentler Bible quiz for kids is a better fit. If your group finishes this one with a near-perfect score, move on to the hard Bible trivia for names, numbers and less-read chapters.

What is the best way to remember the answers?

Open the chapter behind any question you missed and read the whole story, not just the single verse. Most of these answers sit inside short, vivid episodes: Luke 19 takes about two minutes to read, and Joshua 2 is a single short chapter. Reading the surrounding verses links the fact to a scene, and scenes are far easier to recall than isolated names.

If you are new to reading Scripture, our guide on how to read the Bible suggests where to start and how to keep going a few minutes a day. Then come back and take the quiz again in a week to see what stuck.
